MEMBERSHIP
Le Trou Noir is made up of 15 to 20 permanent members. For an annual fee of $500, members have 24/7 access as well as to the darkroom equipment available on site. Becoming a member also means joining a community of artists with whom to exchange, share knowledge and create together.
We are looking for members who can be involved in the organization of activities within the collective, administration, management, coordination, accounting, communications, grant research and promotion of the organization. We prioritize candidates who wish to get involved in the organizational core as well as candidates who come from marginalized communities (BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+).
Up to now, the organization is run by passionate volunteers, but we are in the process of obtaining grants that would provide operating and management salaries to members of the organizational core to ensure the continuity of our precious darkroom.
